Vegan Tortilla Wraps

Vegan Tortilla Wraps

Healthy inside and out, these tortillas are full of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants.



Homemade Tortilla Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 Tbsps chia seeds

  • 2 Tbsps flaxseed


Directions:

  1. Process all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Set aside.

  2. On the stove, heat a large pan.

  3. Pour batter into the pan and make a thin and round sheet.

  4. Once the bottom is cooked, carefully invert the sheet and cook for a little while longer until it is fully cooked but not dry.

  5. Lay vegan tortilla flat to cool.


Stuffing Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of avocado

  • 1 slice of baked tempeh

  • 1 tsp hummus

  • 1 lettuce leaf


Directions:

  1. While the tortillas are cooling, prepare your stuffing ingredients. Set aside.


Honey Mustard Sauce Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsps vegan mustard

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds


Directions:

  1. Process all Honey Mustard Sauce ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Pour into a small bowl.


To Serve:

  1. Insert ingredients in the homemade tortilla.

  2. Serve with homemade Honey Mustard Sauce.
