About the Recipe

A vegan, gluten-free and oil-free dressing with a zing!


  • 2 tsps onion powder

  • 2 tsps garlic powder

  • 2 tsps cumin powder

  • 2 tsps chili powder, add more for extra spicy

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 4 Tbsps lime juice (about 2 limes), freshly squeezed

  • 6 Tbsps tahini

  • 4 tsps maple syrup

  • 4 Tbsps water, or more, to adjust consistency


  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick and smooth.

  2. Add more chili powder or spices, as needed.

  3. Add extra water for a thinner consistency.

How to use it:

Pour it over steamed veggies, baked/roasted/air-fried (sweet) potatoes, rice, quinoa...

Serve as a dip for raw or lightly steamed veggies
