Whip up this quick and delicious 5-Minute Tofu Scramble for a protein-rich, plant-based breakfast. Packed with flavor from turmeric, garlic, herbs, and optional black salt, it’s ready in minutes and perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients
1 14-ouce block extra firm tofu, drained and crumbled
3 Tbsps nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsps mixed Italian herbs, dried
1 Tbsp Braggs Aminos or low sodium Tamari
1 tsp chilli flakes
1/4 tsp black salt (for egg flavor, optional but eggcellent!)
1/2 tsp white pepper
3 Tbsps fresh parsley, chives, or the green parts of spring onion, chopped (optional)
Preparation
Put the tofu into a cold, non-stick frying pan, crumble the tofu by hand, making sure no large pieces remain.
Add all other ingredients into a bowl, mix well.
Sauté the mixture over medium-high heat, for about 3 to 5 minutes. Add water or veggie broth if needed.
Tip: Serve with your favorite raw or lightly steamed veggies, air-fried or cooked potatoes...
